Turtle making out of recycled materials

Turtle craft

The children made a turtle made of egg cartons. They diy it first and we let it dry. The teacher prepared a turtle body and the children will paste it together.

Purpose:
To develop their creativity and to recycled material.

Lpfö:
Develop their creative abilities and the ability to convey impressions, thoughts and experiences in many different forms such as plays, pictures, songs, music ,dance and drama.

Ducklings: Sensory Activity with Jelly

Sensory Activity/Play with Jelly

We did a sensory activity using jelly in the water room. We had 2 different flavoured jelly for the activity. The children touched the jello, felt it, mashed it with hands and even tasted it. Some children likes the taste and some didn’t like. They They had a lot of fun playing with Jelly. 

Purpose: 

To develop their sensory skills.

To develop their fine motor skills.

Yoga 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

Today we  had Yoga in the drama room. They did  the yoga very well and they enjoyed  Yoga time. We  finished Yoga with Nameste. Having Yoga was  fun 😍 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day

The children and teachers wear different socks in honor to celebrate the world Down syndrome day.
It’s a simple but very powerful meaning.

Purpose:
That every child should be treat same with or without disabilities.

Learning Jolly Phonics with AR app

We were in the ICT room. We learned jolly phonics sounds useing AR app.
All the kids enjoyed this activity and they wanted to do again and again.
It was a lots of fun.

Today we were in the forest and feed the birds. We put bird food in their houses. The children enjoyed it and they were so happy.

Purpose:

To be able to the children expose, enjoy and valde the nature.

Respect for all forms of life, as well as care for their immediate

environment.

Garage band_cockatoos

Cockatoos Garage band

We were  working with Garage band app. for do more interactive our learning, The kids choose the music and them they played with the iPad. When they finished we used for week Imovie and we send to the parents.

They enjoyed a lot with the iPad and created the music.

LPFÖ: To develop their ability to identify technology in everyday life, and explore how technology works. 

Playing together with the Ipad and learning to take turns : )
